THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE
Who we are: AtClassAction is an independent initiative that collects expressions of interest to assess whether there may be a viable pathway for collective legal review relating to workplace issues reported by current or former employees.
What we collect: We may collect contact details (name, email), country/work location, employment status (current/former), broad timeframes (month/year), issue categories (e.g., entitlements/underpayment concerns, bullying/harassment, discrimination, unfair performance management, retaliation, unfair termination/forced resignation), and a short free‑text summary you provide.
What we don’t want you to submit: Please do not submit confidential customer information, trade secrets, or personal information about other individuals without their consent. Avoid naming individuals.
Why we collect it: We use information to (a) understand whether reports show common patterns and (b) contact you for clarification or next steps, including (if appropriate) referral to an independent law firm for legal assessment.
Disclosure: We will not sell your information. We may share de‑identified summaries and, if you consent, your information with an independent law firm for assessment. We may disclose information if required by law or a court/tribunal order.
Storage and security: Information is stored using Google services (e.g., Google Forms/Sheets/Drive). We take reasonable steps to secure information, including access controls and multi‑factor authentication.
Overseas processing: Our platform is hosted by Google. Google and its service providers may process or store information on servers located outside Australia.
Retention: We retain information only as long as necessary for assessment and coordination. We may delete submissions that do not progress after [X months], unless we are required or permitted to retain them.
Access/correction: You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing [privacy@atclassaction.com] (or info@atclassaction.com until a dedicated address exists).
Complaints: If you have a privacy concern, contact us first. You may also contact the OAIC for guidance on privacy rights in Australia.
